Responsible Gambling
Gambling can be entertaining when done within limits. It can also be harmful. This page is here to help you stay in control and find support if you need it.
The Honest Truth About Predictions
We use mathematical models that produce probabilities. A 70% probability means we expect that outcome roughly 7 times out of 10 — and in the other 3 cases it WILL NOT happen. Even a 95% pick loses 1 in 20. That is how probability works, regardless of how confident any model is.
No model — ours included — can predict football reliably enough to guarantee profit. Variance, injuries, weather, refereeing, and pure chance all play a role. Treat any “system” that promises risk-free returns as a scam.
Set Limits Before You Start
- Time: decide in advance how long you'll spend.
- Money: set a hard ceiling on what you can afford to lose without affecting essentials. Treat this as the cost of entertainment, not an investment.
- Frequency: not every match needs a wager. Skipping is a valid play.
- Stop-loss: if you hit your limit, walk away — do not try to win it back.
Warning Signs of a Problem
If any of these feel familiar, it is time to pause:
- Spending more than you can afford to lose.
- Borrowing money to bet, or betting with money meant for rent / food / family.
- Chasing losses with bigger bets.
- Lying to family or friends about how much you bet.
- Betting interfering with work, sleep, or relationships.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or depressed when not betting.
- Trying to quit but failing.
